Dashie: Car Widgets · Last updated 30 October 2026
There is no account and no sign-up. Dashie never asks for your email or any other identifier, and we run no servers that receive your content. Only three kinds of requests leave your iPhone: a read-only download of the app's own shortcut files from Apple (see "Shortcut files"), weather and city search requests to Apple (see "Weather and city search"), and the limited purchase data described under "The purchase screen". None of them contains your name, photos, plate, drawings, designs or Apple Health data.
The name you type for the drive card, the car photos you choose, the plate text, your drawings, your widget designs, the city you pick for weather, your faith and text-language choice, your game positions and your settings are stored on your iPhone only, in the app and in the storage it shares with its own widget on the same device. They are not uploaded, not synced to any server of ours and not shared with anyone. Deleting the app deletes them.
You choose which photos to use. Removing the background of a car photo runs on your iPhone with Apple's on-device image analysis. The photo and the cut-out never reach us or any third party.
Dashie does not read data from your car (no speed, fuel, range or diagnostics). It never asks for location permission and never uses your iPhone's location; for weather, only the city you pick is used (see "Weather and city search"). A short technical log of the last 12 runs (time, which moment, whether the card started, error codes and the app build) is kept in Dashie's storage on your iPhone. It contains no name and no vehicle or location data, and it is not sent anywhere.
When your Dashie shortcut runs as CarPlay connects, Dashie starts a Live Activity that shows your car, your name and the drive time on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and where iOS allows it on the CarPlay screen. It is created and updated on your iPhone without push notifications, and nothing in it is sent to us or to anyone else.
The shortcuts that Dashie hands you are files inside the app. So that they can be refreshed without an app update, Dashie can also download newer versions of those files from a public, read-only database in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). This needs no iCloud account and no sign-in, nothing you create or type in Dashie is part of the request, and nothing is written to that database from your iPhone. Apple handles the connection under its own privacy policy.
The weather widgets show forecasts from Apple Weather (WeatherKit). You pick the city yourself: what you type in the city search goes to Apple Maps, and the small map that confirms the city is loaded from Apple. Dashie keeps only the city's name and its coordinates rounded to two decimals (about 1 km). That rounded coordinate is sent to Apple Weather when you choose the city and then about once a day, never more than three times a day for one city. About every 30 days Dashie also downloads the Apple Weather mark and the address of Apple's legal page. Forecasts are kept on your iPhone for at most 48 hours; after that only the city stays. Until you pick a city, no weather or search request is made. Nothing of this reaches us, and Apple handles these requests under its own privacy policy. Apple's weather data sources: weatherkit.apple.com/legal-attribution.html (in the app: Settings › Help › Weather data sources).
Dashie reads Apple Health only if you connect it in the Activity tab, and only for the Activity widget. It reads today's Activity summary: Move, Exercise and Stand, with your goals. It also asks Apple Health to wake it when your active energy or move minutes change, so the widget can update; it uses those changes only as a signal and keeps none of them. Dashie writes nothing to Apple Health.
Dashie keeps only today's summary and the ring pictures it draws from it, in the storage it shares with its own widget on this iPhone. These files are encrypted while your iPhone is locked and are excluded from iCloud and computer backups. Earlier days are not kept.
Your Apple Health data is not sent to us, to Superwall or to anyone else, is not stored in iCloud, and is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining. You can turn off access at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Dashie. Deleting the app deletes Dashie's copy.
The verses on the Faith widgets are part of the app; showing them needs no network request. Your faith and text-language choice stay on your iPhone. The texts and their licences are listed in the app (Settings › Help › Text sources) and on our support page.
Payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. The purchase screen is provided by Superwall, a library that is part of the app. To show that screen, deliver your purchase and remember it after a reinstall, Superwall receives a device identifier, purchase information and basic interaction events (for example, that a purchase screen was triggered or shown). In App Store privacy terms this is data not linked to your identity (identifiers, purchase history and product interaction, used only for app functionality). It is never used for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites, and it never receives your name, photos, plate, drawings, designs, city or Apple Health data.
Superwall processes this data only on our behalf and on our instructions, under its Data Processing Addendum, and gives it the same or equal protection as this policy (Superwall Privacy Policy, Superwall Data Processing Addendum). Superwall keeps this data for as long as Dashie uses its service. To ask for it to be deleted, email z.burakdeniz@gmail.com; we pass the request to Superwall, which helps us carry it out under that addendum.
Dashie shows no ads and contains no advertising or analytics SDK. It does not ask for permission to track you.
Dashie is not directed at children. Beyond the data described above, we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Dashie Apple Sağlık'a hiçbir şey yazmaz.
